Malakaña

Malakaña is a piece of the South in the heart of Benicassim, offering a new concept of tavern where signature tapas are crafted by the talented chef Jorge Lengua.

Despite being an interior design project, it is impossible to overlook the impressive facade of Malakaña, inspired by the typical tiles of Andalusian patios. This facade, with its striking design, aims to bring a piece of the South to Benicassim through a careful selection of colors and patterns.

To capture the southern essence, we chose white and blue colors, which permeate the facade and evoke the freshness and brightness of southern Spain. However, upon entering the interior of the establishment, the atmosphere shifts to warmer tones and natural materials like clay. These elements evoke the sea, the sand of Cádiz beaches, the warm sunsets, and the characteristic Mudejar buildings with their brown hues.

Every detail in Malakaña is designed to transport its visitors to a corner of the South, creating an experience that combines the best of Andalusian gastronomy and design.
